My Money Blog

Blogger name(s)/Alias(es): Jonathan

Blog start date: December 6, 2004

About the Blog: 'As you might have guessed, this site is about my money - how I make more of it, how I try to spend less of it, and how I invest it. I am publicly tracking my progress towards financial freedom. See for yourself by taking a peek at our net worth and our investment portfolio.

(To clarify, the net worth listed above is for both my wife and I, as we treat my money = her money = our money. However, I’m the only author of this blog.)

I am not a financial guru. I don’t speak at get-rich seminars and I don’t write books. What I will do is be honest and open about my financial life. I don’t claim to know it all, and in fact I am learning new things every day. If I mess up, you’ll know. If I come across a neat way to make or save money, you’ll read about it here. I just love this stuff and tinkering with different money-making ideas. With any luck, perhaps we’ll meet up in the Caymans some day.' -- from the About page
