Blogger name(s)/Alias(es): Mrs. Micah

Blog start date: August 7, 2007

About the Blog: Until I got married, I was in great financial shape -- no debt, plenty of savings. But along with acquiring a brilliant, loving, and supportive husband, I got $100,000+ in student loan debt (from his 10 years of school getting a PhD), $8,000 in car debt and $800 in car debt. My blog began as a place for me to start being responsible about spending, saving, and debt repayment. In the process, I discovered the personal finance blogging community and have appreciated all the support and opportunity to learn more about all facets of financial planning.
