About the Blog: My blog used to be known as My Small Cents. Now it's Almost Frugal...but not quite! It's the age old story: an American girl goes on a university exchange program to France, falls in love with a handsome French frog, and lives happily ever after in the land of a thousand cheeses... What the storybooks forget to mention is that student loans follow you everywhere!
I'm a thirty-something American living in a small city in the French Alps. I have three kids, three cats, and one French husband. Oh, and one mountain of debt (~€60,000) that we're trying to dig our way out of, one small cent at a time. ‘Almost Frugal’ is how we live our life. We watch our pennies and centimes but like to live well too.
Approx post frequency: daily, including a carnival and link love round-up on Saturdays.
